The ELK Analytics Team is looking for a talented Sales Engineer to join us in our mission of protecting clients from advanced threats. The Sales Engineer will be a trusted advisor for our clients while also acting as the technical lead within the sales organization to grow revenue.
Responsibilities:
- Work alongside Account Executives to evangelize, design, and demonstrate value to both prospective and existing clients
- Manage the technical process throughout the sales cycle including the gathering of requirements, developing proposals, delivering technical presentations, and leading product demos
- Work collaboratively with other internal teams and provide valuable client and product insights to ensure our solutions remain the best in the industry
- Support up to 8 Account Executives in a technical capacity
- Technical writing skills to assist in the response to technical RFPs and to assist in the enhancement of marketing materials
- Present and/or attend industry seminars, webinars, and trade shows
- Develop and deliver training workshops and presentations to the sales team to improve technical knowledge in our products, our competitors, and the threat landscape
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a customer-facing engineering role focused on security solutions
- Good understanding of the Cybersecurity market landscape and competition
- Excellent technical communication and presentation skills with the ability to establish trust with the prospective buyer
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience
